This weekend Carissa and I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph some absolutely stunning women (like STUNNNING. Seriously my camera is still smoking) and expand our work with Photograph Minnesota! We’re very excited about this new project and will be unveiling more details soon (the title of this post gives some of it away.. ) but for now lets Dish!

Miss our Holiday Blitz photo shoot???
Here’s some helpful hints on how to set-up & take a holiday portrait at home!
Think: personal. If your family loves to bake cookies every holiday season, consider taking some photos of the kids decorating cookies! Maybe your family has a big snowball fight every year, get all bundled up & go outside!
If you’re a traditional family that wants the perfect scene with the Christmas tree & dressy clothes (my fave!) here’s a couple of hints for you:
~ Take the photo during the day, not enough light will result in too...

So since it’s been so cold, I’ve stayed inside & mastered the Caribou HoHo Mint Mocha! Here’s my secret:
Cup-o-coffee (kind of obvious) OR shot of espresso & steamed milk
1/2 package splenda
peppermint creamer OR just add mini candy canes (they’ll melt if you just plop them in!)

Dehydrating Cranberries!
Last Sunday I purchased a dehydrator and set right to work drying cranberries!
.. I know what you’re thinking: ”Aimee, you haven’t blogged in pert near nine months, Big C had a baby, and all the sudden you write about cranberries! What about that wedding you two captured in Chicago? What about the fringe show you worked with? What about –”
